Loved my stay here! The place was amazing and way better than I expected for the price. It’s super affordable without compromising on comfort. This place offers great value for money and truly exceeded my expectations. It’s located right in the city proper and very close to pasalubong areas, which made it very convenient for shopping and getting around. The room was clean and comfortable, with a big bed and a smart TV. Pillow provision was limited to one per person, and some noise from people talking and walking in the hallway could be heard, but overall the room was still pleasant. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a bidet and a working water heater. It would be even better if separate shampoo and bath soap were provided, and a hair blower would be a nice addition. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout the stay. Considering the location and overall experience, it was definitely worth the price paid. This place is suitable for solo travelers, couples, families, and even business travelers. I would recommend it and would happily stay here again.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy and I slept so well. I also loved the hotel facilities—especially the pool and breakfast. The location is perfect and very accessible to shops and tourist spots. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again!

Avenue Suites is a stable and decent hotel at the heart of the busiest food and lifestyle avenue of Bacolod City, Lacson Ave. Booking on regular hotel rates makes it expensive but with the help of Agoda, rate dropped more or less 50% of regular rate—and that's when Avenue Suites became a good choice. Standard room has an average room space that fits everything you may need for a quick days stay at Bacolod: a queen size bed, bright lampshades, Cabinet, work table and chair (very nice area to work), TV set, and coffee table. The bed is the highligh, it is super soft and bouncy, probably one of the coziest bed I ever tried on a hotel. Comfort rooms provide for basic bath needs. The shower is just quite a letdown, showerhead was rusty. The intercom and doorbell on my room does not work as well. These are minor things to consider though. Hotel maintenance could do more work and effort to bring rooms back to its best condition. Overall, I'd be likely to consider Avenue Hotel on my next Bacolod visit if be offered same promo rate. 4 star rating because of Agoda's deal, 3 star if booked regular hotel rate.

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is near buildings and restaurants in Lacson. Coming in and out of the hotel, there is always a security guard on standby, guaranteeing safety. The staff is accommodating as well, greeting everytime you pass by (even if you keep going back and forth, how kind). Talking about expenses, a room per night ranges from ₱1.6k to ₱2k. It is also worth noting that there is a separate fee for the swimming pool (currently at ₱250.00) and the gym (I do not know the price, best ask the staff). I only mentioned this if you plan on using their additional accommodations. They also have a cafe/bar that offers all-day breakfast and other meals. The food is underwhelming by taste, but it could fill an appetite. I wouldn't really recommend the food, as it doesn't match the price. Most of their menu is in 3 digits, by the way. Overall, expenses are alright, no hidden fees. Affordable if you're looking for a budget-friendly staycation in Bacolod. The room is alright in terms of comfort. There is enough space for resting, with TV for pass-time entertainment. The comfort room is clean with working water. Although true to other reviews, bugs are rampant. I would find bugs in the comfort room and on the curtains. It is likely sanitation that causes bug problems, though it seems clean, unsanitary spots tend to attract pests. Despite the bug infestation, we had a good stay. If circumstances lead me to checking in again, I'd do it.
